Our 9th Annual Washington State Retreat was held at the beautiful Canyon River Ranch, set on the banks of the Yakima River. As summarized by one of our 13 participants: “The people were fantastic, the fishing fun and the conversations powerful. I learned about myself and the struggles of others, and I am a better man for it.” Can’t beat that. Thanks go out to State Coordinator Kris Kristoferson and Retreat Facilitator George Patterson for their strong, caring leadership. Be Well! Fish On!

I heard about reel recovery from one of campers at Epic Adventure camp last summer. I had a bone marrow transplant in 1997 for Mulyiple Myeloma and finished radiation in late May for Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I started fly fishing when I was in junior high school a long time ago. I don’t get out much anymore but I would love to hang out with you guys. I am 66 now and will probably work for three more years . Is there an application or is this it? I live in Spokane
