Great Buddies in Idaho

From one of our wonderful Fishing Buddies at our recent Idaho Retreat:

“What an amazing weekend. I had the honor of being a fishing buddy for Reel Recovery and what an experience it was. We took men battling cancer out fly fishing. We talked about life, the struggles of battling cancer and had an amazing time teaching this group of men to fly fish.

The closing ceremony hit me especially hard. The things they had to say to us were very touching. As most know I lost someone amazing in my life to pancreatic cancer. During the closing ceremonies I couldn’t help but but hear my uncle’s voice. It is still to fresh in my mind.

I will never forget this. And I can’t wait for the next retreat.”
